Memory Cafes and Other Programs

Purple Angels Memory Cafe

Dementia friendly communities offer opportunities for people with dementia to remain active, social members of the community. Memory cafes are one example of how communities support people with dementia and those who care for them.

On the first Thursday of the month, Marshfield Area Purple Angels hosts the Purple Angels Memory Cafe, a social event where people with memory loss and those who care about them come together in a safe and engaging environment. Trained volunteers provide fun and interesting activities and there are opportunities to learn about resources in the community.

Purple Angels Memory Cafe gatherings are always free and open to anyone looking for support or information about memory loss, Alzheimer’s disease, and other forms of dementia.

Each Purple Angel Memory Cafe gathering includes interesting and fun activities, food, music, and information about resources available in the community.
